Concrete Garden Edging Process

  • Free No Obligation Quote

There are so many choices when it comes to the patterns, colours and styles that we will take the time to meet with you and discuss the numerous options. Along with a free quote and design we will advise you of the best options available at the most affordable cost.

  • Site Preparation

For areas of your garden that are currently covered by lawn, the concrete garden edging design is painted on it with a line marker.

  • Lawn Removal

When removing the lawn we will ensure that it is removed at a consistent depth. This way you will get the best finish when the concrete garden edging is laid.

  • Pouring the Kwib Kerb Concrete

The Edgemaster Machine will be filled with concrete mix. It will then self propel while extruding the concrete kerbing behind it – ensuring a smooth consistent kerb.

  • Hand Work

There will be sections, such as corners, or the end of a kerb that need to be formed by hand. We are highly trained at Curberry to ensure the finish matches seamlessly with the rest of the edging.

  • Expansion Joints

Expansion cuts are made into the concrete so that if there is ground movement or temperature fluctuations the cracking should be confined to the expansion joints. This make sure your concrete garden edging looks fabulous for years to come.

  • Finishing your Concrete Garden Edging

We offer two main finishing styles – Eurostyle (slate and  rustic wood style)  and – Eurobrick (brick and mortar style). Both come in a wide variety of colours to choose from.
